REAL ESTATE YEAR.
AFFAIRS OF INSTITUTE. "It is 25 years since the Auckland branch of the institute came into being under the title of the Land and Estate Agents and Land Auctioneers' Association of Auckland," states the sixth annual report of the Auckland branch of the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand, to be presented at the annual meeting at the Star Hotel next Thursday. Reporting on institute matters, the president, Mr. G. B. Osmond, states that there has been little doing during the year. It was hoped at the last conference that some progress might be made in the matter of amending the Land Agents Act, but the Government has been eo busy with new legislation, it is explained, that there was no possibility of having the institute's proposals I brought before the House.
