Mr. Eden to Address Meeting of

18,000 Conservatives.

LLANDUDNO THE VENUE. British Official Wireless. RUGBY, September 26. The newspapers predict that a meeting of Conservatives at Llandudno on October 15, which' the Foreign Secretary, Mr. Eden, will address, will provide one of the biggest audiences to which a Cabinet Minister lias ever spoken outside London. The applications for tickets alone exceed 18,000.

The first resolution to be moved at the 64th annual conference of the National Union of Conservatives and Unionists, which will open at Scarborough on October 7, congratulates the Prime Minister and the National Government on the continued improvement of industry and employment. It thanks them for the steps they are taking for the preservation of the country's security and the maintenance of peace, and assures them of wholehearted support.
