ENJOYABLE ENTERTAINMENT. The Operatic Hall. Grafton Road, was filled to capacity oh Saturday night, when Mr. and Mrs. Xigel White were host and hostess tor the enjoyable evening's entertainment giveu by the Athenian Club. "Cherry Blossom Time in Old Japan" was the theme, and the stage was most realistic in its small and high trees filled with the pink blossoms. Quaint Oriental garden settings added to the epectaeular effect. An enjoyable and appropriate number "One Fine Day" , from Madam Butterfly was excellently rendered by Mis* Winifred Hill. Other popular items were given by the National Four. Misses L. Woods and B. Smith. Messrs. Lambert Harvey and Duncan Black. Songs and instrumental numbers were contributed by Misses Madge Taylor. Lillian Kennedy. Messrs. Stewart Harvey. H. Donaldson. Mioses Helen Gray, K. O'Leary, Jean Clarkson, Moya Cooper-Smith. The guests of honour were: Mr. and Mrs. C.~ B. Miller, and Mr. and Mrs. H. H.
