LEAGUE OF MOTHERS.

Devonport.—At the monthly meeting of the Devonport branch of the League of Mothers, held last week, Mrs. Blamires presided. The innovation of having a* fathers' evening was very successful, the members taking their husbands with them. The Rev. E. P. Blamires, husband of the president of the league, gave the address on "The Older and Younger Generations." Mount Roskill.—The Mount Roskill branch held its annual meeting last week. The election of officers for the ensuing year resulted as follows: President, Mrs. Giles; vice-presidents, Mrs. ,P. Taylor end Mrs. Judd; secretary, Mrs. Snell; : treasurer, Mrs. Randrup; committee, Mesdames Menzies, Hill, Irvine. Teutenberg,- Scarlett, Lee, Kinloch; ! Newton East representative, Mrs. E. J. 1 Taylor. An interesting address on personalities met on. a world tour was given "by Mr. Jones.
