CONTEST WITH MAORI TEAM.

The Australian Rugby League representative team played the second match of their New Zealand tour at Carlaw Park this afternoon when they met a strong New Zealand Maori team which included in its ranks George Nepia, the well-known representative player, who ■came to Auckland to take part .in the fixture. - The weather wae fine and there was a good attendance for a, mid-week match. The Australians changed their team considerably from the one which defeated New Zealand .last Saturday by 12 points to 8 in the opening match of the tour, with the object of giving eome of their other players a chance to have a game. The visiting team wore black' arm bands out of respect to A. Norval, one of their colleagues, whose mother hae died in Sydney.
