LONDON, July 15
A surgical miracle at St. James' Hospital saved the life of a London patient who was stabbed twice in the heart, according to "The Lancet." The heart was steadied by a hand and the first wound of three-quarters of an inch stitched up and the heart replaced in its cavity. It still bled and a second wound was discovered and similarly stitched.
