LAXSDOWXE (Out.), July 15.

Albert Knight, aged 55, formerly a wealthy petroleum company official, was arrested and charged with attempted burning to death of three of his children, his purpose being to collect 250,000 dollars' life insurance on them.

Knight was previously freed on hail on a charge of arson growing out of a fire in his home. His eldest daughter, Ruth, was also charged with arson. She was not mentioned, however, in the attempted murder warrant.
