ACTIVITIES AT NORTHCOTE
In connection with the iiicreasinir
demands upon the nurse iti the Xorthcotp ami Birki'iihead districts, the hope wart expressed that arifangenients would be finalised at the meeting of Auckland headquarters next Wednesday to cope with the situation. In order to as.sist in supplying requirements at the Karitajie Hospital, a sewing circle wae appointed, comprising Mesdames A. Campbell, W. E. Carter. W. F. Ward, S. T. Carter and I. Morrison. Missee Pamela Leonard and Gweneth Carter, Masters Brikn and Richard Stilwell were welcomed as new members of the Junior League, and birthday discs were presented to Misses Shirley Lethbridge, Linda Davis, Yolande Cross, Kathleen Opperman and Doris Hodder.
