OVERSEAS LEAGUE.

MUSICAL ENTERTAINMENT,

An enjoyable social evening was held by members and friends of the Overseas League in the clubrooms last evening, when a bright musical and dramatic programme arranged by Miss Laura Montgomery, acting on behalf of the library committee, was given. Among the performers were Miss Ida Lockwood (violin), Misses Theo Halpin and May Rowbottom (piano), Mrs. Harold King, Mrs. Gwen de Berg and Miss Cushla de Lange (songs). Dramatic sketches by Misses Mortenson and Collogham, and recitations by Miss Peggy Cruickshank were a feature of the programme. Mrs. Reid and Mrs. McKinney ac'— 1 as accompanists.

Mr. C. M. Rattray presided over a representative attendance and supper was served at the conclusion of the performance, Misses G. Fraser. I. McLeod, Sheila Harty and V. Clark acting as hostesses.
