Belgian Opposition to Pardon
For War i Traitors.
DEMONSTRATION FORBIDDEN. (Ileceived 10 a.m.) BIU'SSF.LS, .Tune 2.5. The movement against the new legislation to pardon wartime traitors is spreading throughout Belgium. A procession of ex-servicemen, carrying crapedraped flags, threw down their medals on the King Albeit Memorial at Liege.
All war en.ssi's will Ik- incorporated in a wreath to l>e laid at the loot or the rock in the March ties Dames, where King Albert's fatal fall occurred.
The (Jovernment has forbidden a demonstration arranged for July 8.
