SOCCER GAMES.

SENIOR TITLE.

CHAMPIONSHIP PROGRAMME.

RESUMPTION OF COMPETITION

After an interruption of three weeks owing to the visit of the English touring team, the senior championship competition will be resumed to-morrow with a programme of three games. The first match at Bkindford Park will be between Thistle, leaders of the competition, and Abels, and a 6trenuoue encounter is expected. Both teams will be weakened to a certain extent through having two players each in the New Zealand side in the third Test at Wellington, but the substitutes are not likely to be much below standard and a spirited game should result. The three o'clock attraction will be between Ponsonby and Comrades. The latter have surprised several of the other clubs this season by their fast improving game and Ponsonby will have by no means an easy afternoon. They have not been too convincing of late and may find Comrades a harder nut than they may be able to crack. Mount Albeit Grammar Old Boys will cross the harbour and meet Shore United on their own ground and here also a strenuous struggle for point*; is sure to be the outcome. It is probably most likely that a division of honours will be the final verdict. Teams are:—
