PETER PAN.
Dancing went with a merry pace at the Peter Pan Cabaret on Saturday evening, and Theo Walters and his Velvet Rhythm Band were kept busy responding to encores of popular melodies from the crowded throng. A demonstration of the slow fox-trot was given by Jock Hutchinson and Miss Margaret Thomson, and another special feature by members of the Mabel Johnson School was the new Viennese waltz in - formation, the dancers including Misses Margaret Thomson, Dawn Mitchell and Josephine and Betty Johnson, all froeked in black taffeta.

Reeder Harris (Mangonui), eau de nil taffeta; Mrs. E. Olesen, shell pink georgette; Mrs. M. T. Hieks, hydrangea blue brocade; Mrs. O. Trainor, jade green crepe suede; Mrs. Petterson, black and cherry georgette; Miss Mabel Johnson, black brocaded -taffeta; Miss Loretta Russell, white craquelle with scarlet posy; Miss Kathleen Whitaker, black souple satin; Miss M. Hillier, , primrose taffeta; Miss Irene Lees, multi-coloured crepe de chine; Miss Joan Charlton, opal blUe cloque; Miss Marjorie Sherlock, midnight blue georgette; Miss Joan Thomas (Hawera), white frilled tulle; Miss Phyllis Cad'man, beige brocaded taffeta; Miss Joyce |Myles, nut brown taffeta; Miss Erlna [ Schubert, vieux rose craquelle; Miss i Phyllis Rowlands., gold spotted faconne; Miss Peg Jacentho (Mangonui). black satin beaute; Miss E.
