TO BE HELD IN AUGUST. (Received, 10.30 a.m.) PARIS, May 7. It lias been decided to hold the transatlantic air race planned by the French Air Ministry and the -French Aero Club in celebration of the tenth anniversary of Colonel Lindbergh's famous solo flight. The race, which the United States had frowned upon as possibly having detrimental effect on the forthcoming Anglo-American Atlantic air services, will be held next August. NEW GLIDER RECORD. RUSSIAN PILOT'S SUCCESS. (Received 10 a.m.) MOSCOW. May 7. A Soviet pilot. KastorguyeJT, glided 332 A miles in seven hours, thereby setting a new world's record.
