HAPPY COUPLE.

The Duke of Windsor and Mrs. Simpson, standing on a terrace of the Chateau de Cande, received photographers, i' . Replying to a request for "a happy picture.'' Mrs. Simpson said: "We are always happy: - ' The Duke added: "Of course. Isn't that evident?" During the taking of photographs the couple were laujrhinp: and talking genially and seemed to be radiantly happy. The pair later went driving, preceded and followed by cars full of detectives. There was a free-for-all fight one moment when the police tried to stop a cameraman who was climbing a tree. Reporters are to be received every evening until the date of the marriage is announced.
