OBITUARY.
MRS. M. £ KEATLEY. The death has occurred, in her 70th year, of Mrs. M. E. Keatley, of Bellwood Avenue, Mount Eden. Mrs. Keatley came to Xew Zealand at an early age, her people settling first in Kawakawa. Bay of Islands. She later resided in Hikurangi for a short period, and lived in Hukerenui for many years before coming to Auckland. Mrs. Keatley is survived by three sons and three daughters. There are 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. MRS. E. D. ST. GEORGE. The death occurred recently of Mrs. Emily Davis St. George, one of Wellington's oldest identities. Her husband was Mr. Louis E. St. George, son of the' late Dr. St. George, Taranaki. They were married at St. Luke's Church. Greytown. in 1878, hed celebrated their golden wedding, and were in the year of i their diamond wedding. Born in Wellington. Mrs. St. George was the daughter of the late Captain Varnham (brother of Colonel Varuham, of the Isle of Wight), one of Xew Zealand's early pioneers. Mrs. St. George is snr- i vived by her husband and the following family:—Mrs. G. Heines (Wellinston». ] Mrs. R. Pearce (Te Awamutu), Mr*. W. I Bardsley (Dunedin), and Mr. G. L. St. George (Auckland). Her brothers are 1 Mr. John Varnham (Wairarapa), Mr. ( Milton Varnham (Levin), and Mr. Charles Varnham (Wellington).
