WHOLEMEAL BREAD.
WEIGHT AND QUALITY.
GOVERNMENT ACTION SOUGHT. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, this day. Regulations to enforce a standard wholemeal flour and loaf are urged in a remit passed at a meeting of the Waikato sub-provincial executive of the Farmers' Union yesterday. Mr. G. T. Crawley said that wholemeal bread was classed as fancy goods, and could be cold without any regulations as to weight and quality. Wholemeal flour was more beneficial to the health of the community than white.
