FIRE THRILL FOR STARS.
Barbara Stanwyck, Director Alfred Santell, and 50 "extras" were on a Paramount studio set when an artificial wind blew draperies against an arc lamp and the whole etage caught alight. The actors, and actresses. dashed to safety, and watched firemen deal with the blaze. Others who saw the unexpected thrill were Gary Cooper, Bing Crosby and Martha Raye.
