LYNNDALE CLUB.

With the road season cloee on hand it ie hoped the Lynndale Club'e colours will again be to the fore in open events. In the junior section the outlook is verybright. With Bert Baldwin and Haddon Hawke, and every chance of Cliff Morrie being on scratch, the club has a strong team for the Centre'e fastest-time trophy. Following theee, Dan C'aldor. D. Marsison and Roy Hudeon all ecored meritorious ■wine laet season. Xo one could find a better example of triere than in Lee. Hawke, brother to the winner of last year's Orewa race, and K. Smith, who are the moet popular ridcre in the club. In the seniore Stan Aldereon and Graham Hiighee will fill the position of honour. Those rider* should team well together, and Borne polished performances should be witneeeed when they jneet. Arthur Silcock should make the tirade to rido off with Graham and Stan, ae he will be carefully trained by C. I\. Gooder. who, unfortunately, hae decided to leave the road alone thie season. Len Farrant is exnected to be prominent, and with Ken. Elwin. G. Robertson, G. Cochrane, Jack Baldwin and Los. Whyte, the races will be interesting. The boya will be training harder than ever under the capable and popular leadership of Club Captain Jack Baldwin. who will commence training on Tueuilny and Thursday eveningß of each week, meeting at the hall. A club run over the new- circuit will be held on Saturday.
