EASTER CAMP.
■ m NGARUAWAHIA MEETING. CONVENTION OP CHRISTIANS. Well over 1000 people are expected to attend tbe seventeenth annual Christian Convention, to be held at Ngaruawahia at the end of the week under the auspices of the Ngaruawahia Easter Camps (Inc.)* The picturesque camp site is ideally situated at the junction of the Walkatb and Waipa Rivers. Last year more than 1000 Christians from all parts of the North Island assembled there, and it is anticipated that the numbers will be even larger this Easter. The programme will consist mainly of meetings, for which the following wellknown "speakers have been secured: Rev. G. IC.' Reay, minister of the Hamilton Baptist Church; Mrs. Booth-Clibborn (The Marechale); and Dr. Northcote Deck. The Marechale is the eldest daughter of William Booth, founder of the Salvation Army, and a pioneer of the Salvation Army work in France. She is also an evangelist of world-wide repute and a frequent speaker at the annual Keswick Convention, England. Dr. Deck was for many years field director of the South Seas Evangelical Mission 'and also a speaker at Keswick and other great conventions. In addition to the meetings conducted by these speakers, there will be a missionary meeting on Sunday afternoon, at which . representative missionaries on furlough from most of the leading missionary societies of the world- will present the claims and needs of their ous fields. During the river excursion on Saturday afternoon a testimony meeting will be conducted by students of the New: Zealand Bible Training .Institute, Auckland. A unique feature of the convention is its interdenominational character, Christian people from all Protestant denominations attending.
