DELEGATION FOR ENGLAND. TREASURY HEAD TO GO. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Monday. The Secretary to the Treasury, Mr. G. C. Rodda, will be a member of the New Zealand delegation to the Coronation and the Imperial Conference. The Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage, said to-night that, in view of the fact that finance would largely enter into the discussions at the conference, it had been arranged for Mr. Rodda to "be added to the delegation.
The New Zealand delegation, sailing by the Arawa on Saturday, will be as follows:—Mr. Savage; Mr. C. A. Berendsen, permanent head of the Prime Minister's Department; Mr. C. A. Jeffery, clerk of the Executive Council and chief private secretary to the Prime Minister; and Mr. Rodda. While in London Mr. Savage will have associated with him the High Commissioner for New Zealand, Mr. W. J. Jordan, the Minister of Finance and Marketing, the Hon. W. Nash, and the Minister of Labour, the Hon. H. T. Armstrong.
Mr. Armstrong, who will attend the Labour Conference at Geneva, will leave Wellington on April 6. He will reach London on May 11, the day before the Coronation.
