I KING ACCEPTS OFFICE. (Received 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, March 4. At a meeting of the Grand Lodge of English Freemasons the Earl of Harej wood, for the Grand Master, read a ' message fwin the Duke of- Coniiaught j announcing that the King had been pleased to accept the rank of Past Grand Master. The Earl of Harewood said that the jrreat honour His Majesty had conferred upon the Order would be received with the utmost gratification bv the whole craft. The Duke of Connaught was re-elected Grand Master. He has held office since 1901.
