AEROPLANE ON ROAD.
REFUELLING AT BOWSER. MACHINE LOST IX FOG. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) PL TAKL RU. Thursday. Considerable interest was aroused at Tokoroa 011 Tuesday by the most unusual spectacle of an aeroplane refuelling at a roadside bowser. A Gipsy Moth l»eloiiging to the Western Federated Club. Xew Plymouth, and piloted by Mr. Lightband. "of Xew' 11\ mouth, who has as a passenger Mr. J. Cheshire, of Waitara. en route from Kotorua to Xew Plymouth, encountered a fog and became lost for a time. It landed at Tokoroa to refuel and obtain a weather report. The machine was towed to a garage where it refuelled. Later it wa* taken to a larger field, and continued its journey in the afternoon.
