A fuijr^estion that the licensed winemakers in Taranaki produce two qualities ot wine, medium <-lren-tli for the general public and something a little more "loaded" for dancers, was made at the annual conference of tin- Federation of .Justices of the Peace Association this morniiijr. A. Valentine in moving the remit. He declared that wine could be procured at any time for night re-veds. and the result was seen in motor car and cycle aecielents. Mr. W. C. Weston (Taranaki) said he had heard of cases where publicans refused to supply liquor for dance*, and people then went to winemakers for supplies. The remit was lost on the voices.
