BON VOYAGE PARTY.
The president and executive council of the Auckland St. Andrew's Society met in a social capacity last evening in the rooms of the National Council of Women, to bid farewell and bon voyage to Mr. and Mrs. John W. Bissett on their approaching departure for Scotland.
The president, Mr. David McLaren, presided and during the evening Mrs. Bissett was presented with a lovely bouquet of flowers adorned with Scottish tartan ribbons by Mrs. D. McLaren on behalf of the ladies' executive and ladies' auxiliary.
Mr. Bissett. who Is a past president, was presented with a handsome inscribed pocket book. Musical items were con tributed by Mesdames McLaren, Black. Albion, Miss Morton and Mr. George Spicer.
Ladies present included: Mrs. J. K. Black, J.P., past president of the ladies , auxiliary, and Mesdames Spicer, Muirhead, Lornie, Galloway, Douglas, Fraser, Albion. McDowell, Morton, Wright and Miss Bett.
