ISevan. who is shortly Icav.ng to live in Kngland. Jn presenting Mr. He van with a chiming clock. Mr. T. \V. Allsopp referred to tile line work he had accomplished as founder of the association, and added that member* generally regretted that he was departing for Kngland. Guardsnian Harvey made a presentation of a rose bowl to Mrs. Ho vail. In reply, Mr. Bevan intimated that while in London he would do evervthing possible to further the Interests of the association in Auckland, which consisted of ex members of the Guards regiments. Captain G. Humphreys Davis was elected president of the association.
