BITTEN 300 TIMES. JOHANNESBURG. John Henry Gordon, the snake expert at the Empire Exhibition in Johannesburg, died on Christmas Day from a snake bite. He had claimed that he had been bitten 300 times. Almost every kind of snake in existence had bitten him at one time or another. Recently a cobra bit his hand.
