NATIONAL MORTGAGE. (Received 10 a.m.) LONDON", February 18, Annual accounts of the National Mortgage, and Agency of New Zealand for the year ended September 30, disclose a net profit of £21,143.' ,A dividend of 5 per cent, plus a. bonus of 1% per cent, is to \»e paid. The carry-forward is £15,409,000. The directors emphasise that the bonus 'applies for the year under review only, and must not be taken as an indication of increased distribution in the future.
Profits in recent years have been: 1928, £42,757; 1990, £21,286; 1933, £18,419; 1934, £22.385; 1935, £17,401; 1936, £21,143. The dividend in recent years baa been 5 per cent.
