MORE DOMINION RECRUITS. SISTERS' CYCLING TOUR. At (lie first meeting this year of the executive committee of the Church Army, at which his Grace Archbishop Averill presided, the field secretary, Captain S. I{. lianyard, reported that two more New Zealanders, Miss M. A. Cranswick, 8.A., of Matamata, and Mr. J T. Withers, of Christehurch, had been accepted for training, making nine New Zealanders now with the Church Armv. A necessary work was being done by one worker in the East Coast railway construction camps, he said. This worker lived amongst the men in Tikiwhata camp, and tramped to other nearby camps visiting men and their families in their tent homes. He arranged social gatherings, and took services and Sunday schools on Sundays. A team of Church Army sisters in the South Island was visiting from 40 to 50 parishes on a cycling campaign of Witness, taking open-air service* as well as speaking in the churches. In addition, the regular work of officers was being maintained
