EDUCATION REFORM.
AUTHORITIES' PROPOSALS. AUCKLAND BOARD TO MEET. Education authorities throughout New Zealand are at present submitting recommendations to the Government with respect to proposed education reform the Minister of Education, the Hon. p' Eraser, having intimated that expressions of opinion are desired on the Atmore report, which is to be taken as the basis of the new policy. The Auckland Education Board has had a report on the subject prepared by a special committee, and it will hold a special meeting to-morrow evening to consider that report and decide what recommendations it will make to the Government.
