FAST AIR MAIL.

FORTNIGHT FROM LONDON. ARRIVING BY AWATEA. As a result of favourable connections being made, an English air mail will reach Auckland on Monday in exceptionally good time. It will have taken only about n fortnight in transit from London.

The mail was dispatched on February 1, and arrived in Sydney in time to connect with the liner Awatea, which, having left last evening, is due on Monday morning.

An Empire air mail dispatched earlier —on January 27—is now not expected to arrive m Auckland until Tuesday morning. It is being brought from Sydney by the Kairanga, which left last Tuesday.
