Fleetwind did the best four furlongs of the morning,' traversing the distance in 50 3-ss. She carried only a light weight. Royal Appellant. Master Brierly and Knight of Australia were together at the conclusion of a round in 1.51 2-5. They were not bustled. Ringshot completed a similar task in 1.45, after running the last six furlongs in 1.19, and the final half-mile in 535. This was a good gallop. Round Up was going better than School Song at the end of five furlongs in 1.41-5.
