GAY HOSE'S PROGRESS. MISS MESTOE LEASED. After a week's respite from work Mazir rejoined the track division on Monday. He has freshened up very satisfactorily- and is galloping freely once again. ■ Gay Hose is now being allotted faster track work, but is still somewhat round in condition and may have .to be raced into form. In a gallop with Mazir on Thursday morning-she showed she''had~not.,. lpjst her pace and may be running well forward with the colours up during the autumn. Solaria is engaged in the Euahine Handicap at JVoodville and will probably be taken to that meeting. Mr. R. B. Hines has leased his King Lu filly, Miss Mestor, to Mr. P. Brewin, of Rotorua. When in work here early in the season she exhibited speed, and appeared to be likely to develop into a payable proposition. i ~The latest.addition, to W.
