Danish 120/ per cwt, choicest salted Australian and New Zenland 88/, unsalted Australian 92/, New Zealand nominally 93/'. TALLOW, HEMP FRUIT. The Department of Agriculture lias received the following cablegram, dated l'ebruary (i, from the High Commissioner for New Zealand, London: — '1 allow.—Poor demand at auction. Eight hundred and seven casks offered, of which 147 were sold. Present spot quotations are:— Mutton: Fine, 31/ to 31/6; fair to good, 27/0 to 29/6; dark to dull, 25/6 to 26/6. Beef: Sweet and/or mixed. 30/ to 31/; fair to pood, 27/6 to •20/; dark to dull. 24/ to 26/. Mixed: Fair to good. 27/6 to 29/; dark to dull. 24/ to 20/. Gut, etc.: 24/ to 20/. Hemp.—Manila : Market weaker, buvers hojding back on account of closing values. "K" grade for February-April shipments snlrl £33. Sisal: Market quiet. MarchMay shipments sold down to £27 15/. New Zealand: Nothing to report. Apples.—Trade slow, except for good classes in boxes./ Californian Newtowns, 10/0 to 11/: British Columbian Newtowns, 10/(5 to 12/; Jonathans, 11/ to 11/6; Delicious. 10/ to 11/6. Pears.—Demand is good. Californian Winter Nelis, 14/ to 16/6.
