CRASH INTO POLE.

MOTORIST IN HOSPITAL. SERIOUS INJURIES. When attempting to avoid a dog on Point Chevalier Road yesterday afternoon Mr. Pascoe Redwood, aged 34, of Espano Flats, Newtonj a salesman, swerved into the footpath at the corner of Tera Road and struck an electric light pole. He suffered concussion, abrasions and a fractured bone in the face. A St. John ambulance was called, and the injured man was taken to the Auckland Hospital. He was admitted in a fairly serious condition.
