GIRL'S MURDER.
BRUTAL AMERICAN CRIME. (Received 9.30 a.m.) BUFFALO (N.Y.), February 8. Stabbed in the face neck, chest, legs and body, Mary Babcock, aged 18, was discovered lying in a ditch, beside a field, surrounded by trash. Police believe she was killed by a degenerate while en route home after attending a wake. A stained pocl:etknife and a thread of torn wool are the only clues. A medical examiner said the girl was not criminally assaulted.
