CUTS 25,000 HAIRS. AREA OF 48 SQUARE INCHES. (Special.—By Air Mail.) LONDON, January 10. Every time you shave you cover an average of 48 square inches and your razor removes 25,000 hairs, each of which grows 1-lOOth part of an inch daily. The 15.000,000 men who shave daily.in Britain together produce daily 50,000 miles of hair —enough to cover about 125 acres. These facts were revealed by Mr. Ernest Cooper, managing director of Gillette Industries, Ltd., at the opening of their new factory at Isleworth, London, this week.
