Violence Possible But "Things Look Good." AMERICAN DISTURBANCES. XKYY YORK, February 5. The threat of violence at Flint ill connection with the motor strike again became apparent when the police began to swear in 1000 special constables. Strikers alleged that the city officials had broken the agreement concerning disbandnicnt of the "vigilantes." Counsel for the General Motors Corporation consulted Mr. Justice Gadola but did not ask for an order authorising expulsion of the sit-down strikers. A telegram from Detroit stales that following upon a second conference which ended without results yesterday afternoon a telephone message from President Roosevelt urging I hat the parties should meet again resulted ill an evening session. There is a feeling of optimism. The Governor, Mr. Murphy, says that things look very good.
