MINISTERS' MOVEMENTS.
The Minister of Public Works, the Hon. E. Setnplc, left Wellington last evening for Nelson. He will arrive at Christcliurch to-night. He will inspect the proposed Scadown drainage scheme on Tuesday, and after visiting the Timaru aerodrome will leave on Wednesday for Oamaru. He will later visit other "centres, and will spend a week-end at Stewart Island before returning to Wellington on February 25. The Minister of Internal Affairs, the Hon. W. E. Parry, visited Matamata yesterday, and heard a number of deputations. He presented the trophies at the Matamata Racing Club's meeting to-day. The Minister of Lands, the Hon. F. Langstone. who is on a tour of inspection in the North, left Russell yesterday morning for Hikurangi. He stayed at Whangarei last night.
