OHINEMURI JOCKEY CLUB.

THE AUTUMN PROGRAMME. An excellent programme is offered owners by the Ohinemuri Jockey Club for the annual meeting to be held at Paeroa on March 13 and 17. During the two days stake money to the amount of £3550 will bo distributed, the. chief event being the Ohinemuri Cup, which carried a stake of £000. and Trill be decided over one mile and three furlongs. To the trainer of the winner will be presented a canteen of cutlery valued at £25. Every event is well endowed with prize-money, the smallest stake being £150, and the programme, which is published elsewhere in the "Star," should attract the attention of n.ll owners in the province mid not «i few outride.

Owners should note that nominations close at 5 p.m. on February 24 -with Blomfield and Company. Auckland, or at 9 p.m. with the secretary, Mr. H. Poland, Paeroa.
