TEA PARTY.
The lounge of the Lyceum Club presented a festive air with its decorations of hydrangeas and dahlias, when Miss Joyce Peacocke entertained a number ot friends at afternoon tea in honour of .Miss F.lsie Strang whose marriage takes place shortly. A competition was won by .Miss Pat'jenkinson and at teatime the numerous kitchen requisites were displayed. Among those present were Mesdames Xorris, Peacocke, J. Hawke T. Firth, Tony Firth. Desmond Gillies and Misses S. Strang, J. Cox, J. Cussen. H. Stewart, P. and N. Jenkinson, B. Clark, N. Serge], K. Wright, (!. Cussen A. Gillies, L. Swarbrick, X. Ward, X. McMiillin.
