Wash his face iirst, using a soft foce cloth and no soap, except for the cart;, and dry with a soft towel before washing his body. His hair need not be washed each day; about twice each week will suffice. Use a pure curd soap and soft sponge, to wash his body, <tnd do not let him stay in the water for more than five minutes at most. Kemove the child to. your lap, lying him face downwards, and dry "him quickly, paying special attention to the foldrt of the skin. Turn the baby over and dress him quickly in the warmed garments you have placed ready. Wipe his eyes gently with a piece of cotton wool dipped in n weak boracic solution, using a separate piece of cotton wool for each eye. The nostrils should also bo gently cleansed in the same manner.
