A presentation from railway employees in the! .; station and yards was made to him. I j Beginning work with the railways as a j carpenter in the Petone workshops in J 1900. Mr. Moore was transferred in 1018 Jito Xewmarket. and five years after to I Auckland. In M2fi he spent ten months :'on the special task of inspecting and reporting on rolling stock throughout the j North and South Islands. Mr. Moore i« a vicepresident rif the Auckland Railways Bowling Association and a foundation ■ member. He is also a former captain of the Petone Rowing Club.
