RECORDS BY VISITORS.
At Elliott's Bar Bell Club, Onehunga, last evening, the Wellington weight-lifters, before departing for home after their holiday in Auckland, during which they performed very creditably at the second New Zealand championship, further demonstrated their prowess. They broke the following New Zealand amateur records, new records In parentheses:—J. T. Cooper feather-weight, Ost ljlb : Pull over at arm's 6 ?l b < 851b >. right-hand curl 37ilb (oOlb), left-hand curl 401b (47£lb). C. \V alker, bantan-weight champion of New A 9 3,? Right-hand curl 37Jib (42ilb), left-hand curl 371b (42Jib). Professional feather-weight records were broken by K. J. Webb, of the Kelvin Studio, Wellington, as follows :—Right-hand Xiel ?I~ 8 ,.. 501b (601b), right-hand curl 5611b (OYJlO). *
