REARING OF GAME.

OPERATIONS AT FARM. IBy Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) ROTORUA, this day. Although unsatisfactory weather conditions have been experienced in Rotorua during recent weeks, the work at the Internal Affairs Department's game farm at Ngongotalia has proceeded unhampered, and the conservator of game and fish in the Rotorua district, Mr. A. Kean, reported last evening that approximately 000 pheasants had been reared so far, the birds all being in excellent condition. It was expected that another 100 birds would be hatched early next week, and by the opening of the shooting season in the district there should be a considerable number of birds to liberate.
