Small-grown backward sorts sold surprisingly well, improving on anticipated sales. 'Well-grown very forward early shorn two-tooth wethers realised to 25/0. A short yarding accounted, for fat sheep rising 1/0 a head, best ewes making 24/ and top lambs 20/.' ... ■..'.. :■ Secondary cows predominated' in ' the short fat cattle yarding. .
