HOUSEWIFELY WANGLES.
Here are some hints to help you with minor household catastrophes: — People with limited par den space often find clothes drying a problem on washing day. It will he found that many light articles can be attached to other heavier washing already on the line, by means of spring pegs, to give you that little extra space. Jam which has been laid aside and has got hard and sugary can be made as good as when newly made if it is put in the oven for a little while till the sugar melts, and then left to cool. If kid gloves get wet, dry them in a cool place away from the fire and the sun, and when they are thoroughly dry rub a littlft olive oil carefully into ail stiff places. This will brinjr hack the softness and elasticitv to the kid.
