RELATIVE WISHES HER LUCK. NEW YORK, December 13. The Associated Press Los Angeles ' correspondent states that Mrs. William [ Hood, now the wife of a mathematics professor there, and whose maternal : aunt is Countess Strathmore and who is ! a cousin to the Queen, with whom she j spent much of her girlhood, said: "Poor i Elizabeth. We wish her all the luck in ! oJie world, for she will find her position I most difficult and exacting."
