(Received 9.30 a.m.) LONDON, December 9. 1 * The Urgent need for a resumption I of migration was stressed by speakers at an Empire Industries Association luncheon. ; ,' _ ' ' Viscount Bledisloe said the peopling of the Dominions and development of their resources was of the most vital importance, coupled with AngloAmerican friendship in international affairs and policy. • "The time has arrived," he went on, "for a stock-taking in the Empire to determine its liuman-carrying capacity. We must have more migrants. "Since I returned after five years in New Zealand, I have not received on? request, official or otherwise, to pass on the benefits of my experience in that Dominion on its problems of the future". "It is time the Empire held a grand council to organise .its. great, resources and to transfer from our depressed areas thousands- of people who could help to develop the Dominions." . f
