PROGRESS IS "SATISFYING."
(Received 9.30 a.m.) VATICAN CITY, December 9. Pope Pius XI., who has been reported seriously ill with uraemia, had a restful night. • Professor . Milani examined him again to-day and stated that he was satisfied with his Holiness' progress. A late message says the Pope's condition is much improved, and it is expected that he will leave Tiis bed tomorrow.
