8.8.C.'S £10,000 ORGAN.

LONDON, October 24. The first programme broadcast by the 8.8.C.'s £10,000 theatre organ, the largest in the country, was heard this week. - This instrument is accomodated m the side galleries of St. George's Hall, and has taken eight'months to-build. There are 2000 pipes, varying in diameter from the thickness of a pencil to something like two feet. The organ can be used as a grand piano and can produce the sound o. overy kind of precussioa instrument. The cffccts include various whistles, motor horns, steamboat sirens, a iiie bell and "Chinese Gourds,"
